Contact UsFoundation for Success
From small commercial HVAC systems to complex industrial applications, Harris builds each project from the ground up. We study your business, uphold the highest standards of safety and quality, and keep construction projects in scope, on schedule and within budget. Through detailed planning and ongoing communications, we avoid potential delays or costly revisions.
Preconstruction
Before construction begins, we help you define objectives and make decisions that maximize the value of the project while maintaining the original intent. Through cross-team communications and detailed planning, we develop customized solutions within project budget and scheduling parameters.
Estimating Projects
Harris takes full ownership of the mechanical budget process. We use construction takeoff software updated with the latest commodity material and labor pricing to determine piping, plumbing and ductwork system fabrication costs. To minimize the risk of large price variations, we base our equipment and subcontractor costs on quotes from multiple sources. During each phase of the project, we update the budget to:
- Reflect the latest building size, program and scope changes
- Include a detailed mechanical cost breakdown
- Document changes and their impact on the final budget
