Greg Donley, Senior VP at Harris, Retires After 31 Years

(ST. PAUL, Minn.) – After 31 years at Harris, Greg Donley, senior vice president + general manager, is retiring.

Donley’s impact on the leading national mechanical contractor is palpable. His service and influence at Harris started in 2005 with Donley playing an instrumental role when Harris acquired HiMEC, Inc., a full-service mechanical contractor based in Rochester, Minn., where Donley served as a part of the leadership team.

His dedication, knowledge and leadership continued during his tenure as he served in leadership roles across Harris, including at its regional office in Rochester, Minnesota; its Zumbrota, Minnesota fabrication shop, Midwest Fabrication & Supply (MFS); and at its Phoenix, Arizona location which received a 2021 The AZ Central Top Workplaces award. Donley also had the opportunity to put his finance expertise to use as interim chief financial officer during 2018.

Donley served as a skilled mentor, a thoughtful manager and a customer-centric leader at Harris. In 2019, he received Robert F. Hosch Lifetime Achievement Award. Nominated by peers, the honor is given annually to a Harris employee who has built strong relationships, empowers and creates opportunities for others, and shows humility, selflessness and respect.

Donley is looking forward to long motorcycle road trips with his wife, spending more time with their family and planting and harvesting on the family farm.
