Field Heat System at TCF Bank Stadium Ready for Vikings Game

Harris Mechanical worked on the TCF Bank Stadium Improvements, completed in July 2014. In order to serve as the temporary home of the Minnesota Vikings, the stadium was in need of some key improvements to accommodate both fans and players. With sub-zero temperatures forecasted for this Sunday when the Vikings host the Seattle Seahawks, the teams will benefit from the field heat system designed and installed by Harris Mechanical. The system essentially acts as a big radiator buried approximately 8″ beneath the field and team sidelines. It is designed to keep the field above 40º F. Learn more here.
