Harris Purchases Summit Mechanical

Harris is pleased to announce it has purchased Summit Mechanical – the mechanical and commercial plumbing divisions of St. Paul-based Summit Fire Protection Company.

Summit Mechanical will be incorporated by Harris Service  St. Paul, led by General Manager Tom Danley. Harris Service is one of the Twin Cities’ most trusted providers of emergency service, preventative maintenance programs, retrofits and upgrades for commercial and industrial mechanical systems.

Says Danley, “I look forward to this very exciting opportunity. It will provide additional services to Harris customers and provide Summit customers with a long-term strategy for customer service excellence.” The addition of Summit Mechanical’s experienced pipefitters, plumbers, sheet metal workers and talented office personnel offers tremendous possibility to grow and manage Harris Service.
