Blue Cross Blue Shield of Minnesota N4 and River Park Upgrade
Harris partnered with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Minnesota (BCBS) to complete a building automation retrofit for two buildings on the Blue Cross campus in Eagan, Minnesota. In addition to the automation upgrades, Harris also provided JACE and graphic updates for 11 additional buildings. The project was based on an aggressive schedule to limit disruption.
To ensure client satisfaction, Harris established open communications and a full understanding of the long-term vision BCBS had for the building automation system. Completing the process the “Harris Way”, current program shortfalls were discussed, and Harris developed a strategy to alleviate those and future issues. In continuing with the “Harris Way” process, Harris also worked with the client to develop standard naming conventions and graphics, and then utilized those standards to apply the new retrofit work, while matching the standards of the existing building.
The new standards created by BCBS and Harris can be applied on any future projects to allow for a consistent look and feel.
