Faribault Foods Expansion

Harris performed the installation of all heating, cooling, and process piping on a nearly 1,000,000 square foot expansion project at the Faribault Foods Plant in Faribault, MN. As part of the project, Harris installed two 1000 BHP boilers, two 550-ton chillers, three cooling towers, three large outside water storage tanks, and all of the other associated pumps and piping specialties related to each of the piping systems installed. Along with this, Harris also ran several thousand feet of steam, condensate, chilled water, RO water, natural gas and other utility piping ranging in sizes from ¾” up to 12” in size. The project was completed in 2017. Since the completion of the project, Harris has teamed up with Faribault Foods, and has been working together with them to install each of the new process lines into their new facility.
