Ridgeview Medical Center Surgery Remodel
The Ridgeview Medical Center Surgery Remodel project was awarded to Harris as a design-build project. Harris provided the ductwork, design and engineering, HVAC, medical gas piping plumbing and test and balance for the project. We added new radiant panels above the patient beds along with a new headwall layout. The remodel was approximately 6,000 square feet and consisted of 23 beds.
This project was completed in seven phases. Harris could only work on a small portion of the remodel at a time. There were patients in close proximity to the construction resulting in careful scheduling and a phased-out timeline. Another challenge of this project was Harris installed exposed ductwork on top of the roof. The exposed rooftop ductwork had to all be installed in one weekend. Harris was able to complete the project on time while keeping the hospital operational for patients.
