Sheraton Woodbury Hotel

Harris provided design-build services to JE Dunn Construction to build a new five-story hotel in Woodbury, Minnesota. This 150-room hotel serves corporate clients and business travelers in the eastern suburbs including 3M, Anderson Windows and HealthEast. Hotel amenities included a full-service kitchen, restaurant, bar, exercise room, indoor pool, and meeting and event space.

Harris was contracted to provide the design, engineering, plumbing, HVAC and controls scope for the project. A heavy emphasis on preconstruction services allowed the design team to identify, evaluate and recommend solutions that provided true budget savings to the owner. In fact, the final mechanical contract was approximately $20,000 less than the initial contract without compromising rooms or amenities.

This project was completed safely, on-time and under budget.
