St. Francis Regional Medical Center Expansion

Harris was contracted to provide design-assist mechanical services for this hospital expansion and remodeling project. The project included a new central plant containing boilers, chillers and generators, as well as an addition adding medical/surgical rooms and administration space. The addition was built with the capacity to add another four floors and additional space as necessary.

Several mechanical systems were manufactured by Harris off-site to streamline installations. As this is a healthcare facility, all the manufactured pieces were wrapped in plastic to prevent dust and dirt contamination.

Harris has provided mechanical services for the St. Francis Regional Medical Center throughout the years, including a MRI addition and an operating room, ICU and birthing expansion project.
