St. Olaf College Kildahl Hall

Harris and St. Olaf College enjoy a long-term relationship as Harris has worked with the college for years to successfully complete numerous new construction and renovation projects.

The Kildahl Hall project consisted of a three-story bathroom addition on one end of an existing dormitory building and a complete gut and remodel of the building’s HVAC, piping and plumbing systems.

The remodel portion of the project took place in two phases each having to be completed during the summer months when students were not occupying the building. Harris worked on an aggressive schedule to complete the project during the total of 69 working days available each summer. During the school year, the Harris design team worked with the project team to ensure that all design was completed on-time for the start of the summer project.
