WeWork at Innovation Pointe 2

Harris was awarded the mechanical and plumbing scopes for the second WeWork office space located on the Innovation Pointe campus. Harris’ outstanding performance and quality on previous WeWork projects was a key factor in securing this project. As a member of the design team for the Innovation Pointe Building Two Core & Shell project, Harris was able to provide design assistance for the WeWork design to help with integrating the new tenant space into the existing building systems. This project allowed Harris to showcase its capabilities as a full-service mechanical contractor as it was able to utilize each of its departments to complete the mechanical, plumbing and HVAC controls scopes of work. This included utilizing Harris service technicians for the equipment startup of IT cooling room equipment and 44 fan powered boxes.

Harris received high praise from both the WeWork and General Contractor teams, noting the thorough coordination of the field foremen and quality installation methods, especially in areas with exposed ceilings. Comments made by the Tenant and Engineering teams reviewing the installation came with very high praise, even to the point of documenting the installation with photos and noted directions to use Harris’ installation methods as a standard for future projects.

Harris’ field crews did a tremendous job with meeting the fast-tracked schedule and providing a finish project that represents the quality and experience Harris seeks to provide its customers.
