Harris Helping Hands
Connecting our employees to the community around us.
Our company-wide volunteer program, Harris Helping Hands (HHH), creates remarkable opportunities for our employees to serve the community and achieve a positive impact together!
Harris values being a trusted partner and building positive relationships with our customers. We aim to make the same impact in our communities through HHH. Our volunteer program provides opportunities and quality resources to support local communities in need.
HHH supports initiatives that align with Harris’ vision and values, organized into four pillars: Wellness, Environment, Education and Shelter. Here at Harris, we are a trusted partner on and off the job – that includes our community!
Wellness
Wellness is the foundation of an individual’s mental and physical health. Through this pillar, we promote wellness by hosting a nationwide food drive. All offices and jobsites collect non-perishable food to donate to local shelters.
Environment
On and off the field, we participate in sustainable activities to reduce our carbon footprint. Taking care of the planet improves community wellness, promotes sustainability and benefits future generations. Harris shows our commitment to the environment through donating trees for planting. Employees raise funds toward having trees planted across the U.S.
Education
A good education shapes the course of a person’s future and develops essential life skills. Harris has the opportunity to provide much-needed supplies to students in our communities, ensuring they have the tools to create a productive learning environment. At Harris offices and jobsites across the country, employees hold a school supply drive to support students entering the school year.
Shelter
Every person needs shelter to be healthy and safe. Here at Harris, safety comes first, last and always – we value providing the protection of shelter for those who need it most. Harris employees participate in a coat and toy drive to provide warmth during the winter months and toys for developmental skills.
