Twin Arrows Casino Resort Expansion

Twin Arrows Casino Resort is a five-story, 110-room, 71,630-square foot hotel addition with a 7,548-square foot spa. Harris performed installation of HVAC equipment including a 500-ton air cooled chiller and boiler, outside air and exhaust risers and a vertical and horizontal fan coil unit. Included among the plumbing installations were hot water and chilled water mechanical piping, domestic hot water re-circulation, pump, mixing valve, booster pump, water heaters and a hot water storage tank. Steel was used for mechanical piping mains and copper used for smaller sizes.

The job site location in Flagstaff is over a two-hour drive from Phoenix where all commercial materials for this job were located. The project was constantly changing, with Level 1 being completely shelled along with the spa for cost savings. Level 3 was changed from offices to additional guest rooms which posed scheduling issues as well as material challenges.
