Harris Acquires F.W. Spencer & Son, Inc

St. Paul, MN (December 2019) – Harris announced that it has acquired F. W. Spencer & Son, Inc., a San Francisco Bay Area contractor that has been leading plumbing and mechanical contracting in the Bay area for over 116 years. Under Harris, the former FWS team will become a part of Harris Bay Area, LLC.

The acquisition fits into Harris’ strategy of continued growth and expansion while adding to its design and fabrication portfolio. By acquiring the company, Harris will continue its geographic expansion and create additional opportunities in the continental United States and globe by combining FWS’s and Harris’ expertise.
