Metro WWTP Solids Equipment Systems Improvements

Harris was the general contractor responsible for the systems improvements at the Metro Wastewater Treatment Plant in St. Paul, Minnesota. The sewage and waste disposal project required the replacement of several large pieces of equipment which included the primary heat exchangers, boiler economizers and evaporators and ID fan motors. MCES Sludge Incinerator

Harris teamed with Von Roll Inc to provide sludge incineration at the largest of the eight sewage plants in the Metropolitan Council of Environmental Services (MCES) system. Von Roll Inc designed the incineration process. Harris helped procure the project, provided mechanical systems design and directed the construction coordination with other contractors.
