Tell us about your background. How did you get your start in the construction/service/BAS business?
By fabricating and welding on race cars at a young age and because of a relative that taught welding at our local union school.
What drew you to Harris? What makes you stay?
Energy of growth. I feel I can continue to make a difference in the growth of the fabrication shop with building the best facility along with the best team.
What do you enjoy about working at Harris?
No “I” in team atmosphere. The understanding for why fabrication is key to success in today’s industry.
What is the best part about your position?
The best part of my position is being able to help with problem solving.
What traits do you think are important for someone in your role to be successful?
Never quit pushing forward.
What are your main responsibilities and initiatives that you lead?
To manage a safe workplace across the entire facility.
What are you passionate about at work?
Helping the field create ideas for fabrication.
How do you like to re-charge?
Fishing and crabbing
What are you most proud of at Harris?
What we have accomplished in the two years I’ve been here in the Mid-Atlantic Division.
What is one thing Harris employees wouldn’t know about you?
I have a piece of metal in my chest from trying to force an axe through a piece of wood with a hammer when I was young.

The ability to teach and work alongside of the team.
