The 52-story Devon Tower is one of Oklahoma City’s most visible landmarks and was designed as an office headquarters for Devon Energy, but also a place for people to enjoy dining and views from the upper floors. This high profile, LEED Gold certified skyscraper presented Harris with major challenges. Xcel Energy needed a new administration building near the site of its Prairie Island Nuclear Generating Plant. The building was designed to house more than 300 employees and save Xcel money on energy costs. Harris completed the HVAC, plumbing, piping and temperature controls for the new building.
