UK Albert B. Chandler Hospital Pavilion A

The University of Kentucky’s (UK) new Pavilion A at the Albert B. Chandler Hospital is the cornerstone of a 20-year construction plan for this academic medical campus of the future. Xcel Prairie Island Administration Building

Xcel Energy needed a new administration building near the site of its Prairie Island Nuclear Generating Plant. The building was designed to house more than 300 employees and save Xcel money on energy costs. Harris completed the HVAC, plumbing, piping and temperature controls for the new building. Terra Verde Corporate Campus Phase I

Harris completed the HVAC scope for the construction of the Terra Verde Corporate Campus. The new high-end office project located in the north corridor of Scottsdale, consists of four buildings. Lookout Mountain Elementary School

The 85,000-square foot Lookout Mountain Elementary School project was unique in that Harris, working for Adolfson & Peterson Construction, was responsible for the installation of the HVAC system involving the installation of a geothermal field and water source heat pumps. Mayo Clinic Richard O. Jacobson Building

Mayo Clinic opened the first facility in the Midwest capable of providing proton beam therapy used to treat cancer. The building features four treatment rooms that include a three-story, 190-ton mechanical apparatus (gantry) needed for the proton beam and a 20-ton magnet to guide the beam. Minnesota Correctional Facility – Faribault

The Minnesota Correctional Facility – Faribault is a medium-security, level-three facility. Harris provided mechanical services for the multi-phased expansion and renovation. The project included the addition of three new living units, program buildings (psychological, religious, volunteer and education services), dining/kitchen area and the renovation of the senior care/special needs facility. Otter Tail Ag Ethanol Plant

Located on a 109-acre site, Otter Tail Ag – a 55 million gallon per year ethanol plant – takes corn grown by local farmers and turns it into ethanol.
