Great Wolf Resort Renovation

Blue Cross Blue Shield of Minnesota N4 and River Park Upgrade

Harris partnered with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Minnesota (BCBS) to complete a building automation retrofit for two buildings on the Blue Cross campus in Eagan, Minnesota. In addition to the automation upgrades, Harris also provided JACE and graphic updates for 11 additional buildings. The project was based on an aggressive schedule to limit disruption. TRIA Orthopaedic Center

Harris teamed with Kraus-Anderson Construction to build the new state-of-the-art, 84,000-square foot TRIA Orthopaedic Center in Woodbury, Minnesota. The facility offers orthopaedic and sports medicine services including a walk-in clinic, ambulatory surgery center and on-site rehabilitation services. Gopher Resource Afterburner

Harris installed a new afterburner for Gopher Resource’s Tampa facility. The scope included installation of a new afterburner, support structure, platforms, walkways and necessary piping and duct to make operational. The new afterburner was installed in an operating lead recycling smelter plant. Harris personnel needed to safely perform their work in an environment filled with lead dust and with ambient temperatures of 131 degrees Fahrenheit. The University of Minnesota’s Amundson Hall Lab Addition is a 42,000-square foot chemistry lab addition known as the Gore Annex. Flint Hills Pine Bend Refinery Hydrogen Compressors

Harris was hired to take on the hydrogen compressor area in Area 4 of the Pine Bend Refinery’s new ultra-low sulfur diesel unit #29. To accommodate the tight schedule, Harris made use of BIM modeling Flint Hills Resources provided. Harris moved two BIM/VDC drafters on-site to work with the completed model. The Central Laboratory project consolidated the services provided by over 50 laboratories into one core lab located on the Abbott Northwestern campus in Minneapolis. Built on the second floor of an Allina warehouse, the total construction area covers approximately 76,000 square feet. The Central Laboratory Facility serves 11 Allina hospitals, 49 Allina medical clinics, 13 Aspen clinics, five Quello clinics and several specialty care services.
