RBC Plaza BAS Retrofit

Harris was selected by Cushman & Wakefield NorthMarq to upgrade the building automation system. The RBC Plaza had an existing Honeywell XL Plus system with an integrated fire alarm. The upgrades required the mechanical BAS to be separated from the fire alarm system in the 40-story skyscraper in downtown Minneapolis. Providence Academy Performing Arts Auditorium

Harris was given a fully designed design and spec job for the addition of an auditorium to Providence Academy school in Plymouth, Minnesota. Bielenberg Sports Center Field House

Harris installed KMC Controls in the Bielenberg Sports Center Field House to control the TRAK heat pump system. We installed 170 temperature sensors throughout the field house and the outdoor pleasure rink to control the TRAK system and the building temperature. Nine of the sensors are in the manmade pond by the heat exchangers and in the piping to dissipate the heat in the summer. River Towers HVAC Revitalization + Remediation

For the River Towers HVAC Revitalization and Remediation project, Harris was the general contractor with multiple subcontractors direct with the owner. The project was design-build with mechanical, electrical, structural and architectural scope of work. The project consisted of condos with (2) towers, one 30 stories and the other 18 stories. Harris was selected by Layton Construction and Argent Group as the design-builder for the mechanical and plumbing work on the new, Innovation Pointe development. This development consists of a 40-acre master plan with 600,000-square feet of development. G4CE Family Fun Center

Harris remodeled the HVAC and plumbing systems in a 101,000 square-foot warehouse. The space was originally a retail location and was made into a family fun/amusement center. McKeown Community Center is the community center for Flynntown — the lower campus of Saint John’s University (SJU) — and is designed to the LEED Silver standard. To reduce energy usage efficient lighting, HVAC and plumbing systems were installed. Harris designed and installed controls systems that monitor energy usage in real time. SJU Hill Museum & Manuscript Library

The Hill Museum & Manuscript Library, located on the architecturally distinguished Saint John’s University campus, houses the world’s largest collection of images of manuscripts from the Middle East, Europe and Ethiopia, and a collection of prints ranging from the 15th century to the present. In the office, workspace and archive areas, Harris installed new heating, ventilation and air conditioning controls systems, providing an optimal environment for the museum’s collection and its users.
