Minneapolis Institute of Art Addition

Harris has a long-standing relationship with the Minneapolis Institute of Art and has provided mechanical systems and maintenance work for many years. MCES Sludge Incinerator

Harris teamed with Von Roll Inc to provide sludge incineration at the largest of the eight sewage plants in the Metropolitan Council of Environmental Services (MCES) system. Von Roll Inc designed the incineration process. Harris helped procure the project, provided mechanical systems design and directed the construction coordination with other contractors. IKEA

IKEA is a 200,000-square foot stand-alone retail space located at the Mall of America. Harris was hired by Pepper Construction’s Retail Group to provide the plumbing and HVAC for the new IKEA store. The Hotel Minneapolis

Harris was hired by M.A. Mortenson Company to help transition a 10-story vintage bank building into a sleek downtown hotel. Harris performed the design-build mechanical construction and temperature control services. Harris worked closely with the project team to preserve the key architectural elements of the building, while installing efficient mechanical and temperature control systems. Central Arizona Project (CAP) Chiller Project

Harris, in coordination with the Central Arizona Project (CAP), replaced the existing water-cooled chillers with air-cooled chillers at the Brady, Picacho and Red Rock Pumping Plants on the CAP Aqueduct. Harris operated in a prime contracting role and self-performed the mechanical scope. Allina Central Laboratory

The Central Laboratory project consolidated the services provided by over 50 laboratories into one core lab located on the Abbott Northwestern campus in Minneapolis. Built on the second floor of an Allina warehouse, the total construction area covers approximately 76,000 square feet. The Central Laboratory Facility serves 11 Allina hospitals, 49 Allina medical clinics, 13 Aspen clinics, five Quello clinics and several specialty care services. Abbott & Children’s Hospitals Mother Baby Center

Harris performed the plumbing, HVAC and temperature controls work for the new Mother Baby Center at Abbott Northwestern Hospital and Children’s Hospital. St. Olaf College Kildahl Hall

Park Nicollet Women’s Center at Methodist Hospital

Harris provided both plumbing and HVAC services for the Park Nicollet Women’s Center at Methodist Hospital located in St. Louis Park, Minnesota. The design-build project included a 30,000-square foot build-out on the fifth floor of the existing hospital. Work included the installation of a new 35,000 cubic feet per minute custom air handling unit installed in the penthouse above. Music City Center

Music City Center is a 2,100,000-square foot gathering space featuring an exhibit hall, grand ball room, meeting rooms and parking complex. Harris teamed with longtime partner Foley Company, to fabricate and install 2,400,000 pounds of sheet metal for the HVAC ductwork. Harris also furnished and installed 62 air handling units totaling more than 1,800,000 cubic feet per minute of ventilation.
