Carleton College Science Complex Addition

Carleton College’s Science Complex Addition is a 118,000-square foot LEED Gold project which includes the demolition of their existing science building, Mudd Hall, and renovating the existing Hulings and Olin Halls classroom and laboratory spaces, including a 3,000-square foot vivarium. U of M Andrew Boss Laboratory of Meat Science

ABLMS is a mechanical infrastructure improvement project at the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities. The building has four levels of labs and faculty offices along with a modern meat processing facility. Abbott Emergency Department Renovation

Harris was hired by JE Dunn Construction for a complete mechanical and plumbing upgrade for the 48,000-square foot emergency department remodel project at Abbott Northwestern Hospital. This project included a new heating water system and upgraded built-in-place custom air handling unit. St. Olaf College Ice Arena

This project consisted of remodeling the old field house on the St. Olaf College campus into a new hockey arena. The ice arena is located inside Skoglund Fieldhouse. The updated design includes an NHL-size rink, seating for 800 fans, locker rooms for varsity hockey, and other ice-related program spaces. St. Olaf College Holland Hall Renovation

Harris completed the renovation for the St. Olaf College Holland Hall. Holland Hall opened in 1925 and had its interior renovated in 1969. The 1969 renovation allowed for more space and usage, however, much of the Holland Hall’s original character was lost. This renovation of Holland Hall rebuilt and restored its original design, combining classic architecture and adaptable classrooms filled with modern teaching technologies. In 2012, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints announced plans to build the first Temple in Tucson, Arizona. Davis-Monthan Air Force Base Visitor Quarters Building

Harris bid this project as a hard bid project and was able to secure the project through our experience in this type of construction. The new building is 164,200 square feet and includes 262 new guest rooms. It has guest laundries, business center, training rooms, and exercise rooms. Harris was selected by Big-D Construction to perform the mechanical, plumbing and HVAC controls scopes as the Design-Assist subcontractor for the new Tooele Public Safety building.
