Metro WWTP Solids Equipment Systems Improvements

Harris was the general contractor responsible for the systems improvements at the Metro Wastewater Treatment Plant in St. Paul, Minnesota. The sewage and waste disposal project required the replacement of several large pieces of equipment which included the primary heat exchangers, boiler economizers and evaporators and ID fan motors. Carleton College’s Science Complex Addition is a 118,000-square foot LEED Gold project which includes the demolition of their existing science building, Mudd Hall, and renovating the existing Hulings and Olin Halls classroom and laboratory spaces, including a 3,000-square foot vivarium. Harris was selected by Layton Construction and Argent Group as the design-builder for the mechanical and plumbing work on the new, Innovation Pointe development. This development consists of a 40-acre master plan with 600,000-square feet of development. Issaquah Middle School

The Issaquah Middle School project is a progressive design-build project. Harris’ design partner for the project was Hargis. Harris performed the complete plumbing, including domestic, DWV, acid waste, hot water plant and fixture trim. Facing the challenge of preserving sensitive historical artifacts, Harris was the selected mechanical contractor for the Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center at the National Air and Space Museum in Chantilly, Virginia.
