Metro WWTP Solids Equipment Systems Improvements

Harris was the general contractor responsible for the systems improvements at the Metro Wastewater Treatment Plant in St. Paul, Minnesota. The sewage and waste disposal project required the replacement of several large pieces of equipment which included the primary heat exchangers, boiler economizers and evaporators and ID fan motors. GE Propane Vapor System

Harris worked with Standby Systems Inc to fabricate 13 skids for a General Electric propane vapor system to be installed in the country of Ghana, Africa. The skids, which were shipped internationally, contained piping, pumps, valves, heat exchangers, structural frames and supports for the metering and vaporization of the propane. The Williams International – Blue Phoenix Ogden Addition project was a new manufacturing plant for Williams International in Ogden, Utah. This was a fast-paced project where the mechanical and plumbing design was happening while the shell of the building was going up.
