Churchill Downs Oak Grove

Harris was awarded the HVAC and plumbing package for the new Churchill Downs race and Gaming Facility in Oak Grove, Kentucky. This face-paced project includes a 150,000-square-foot gaming and entertainment venue, a 128-room hotel, race-day and overnight stables, an equestrian center, amphitheater, an RV park and maintenance buildings. Faribault Foods Expansion

Harris performed the installation of all heating, cooling, and process piping on a nearly 1,000,000 square foot expansion project at the Faribault Foods Plant in Faribault, MN. As part of the project, Harris installed two 1000 BHP boilers, two 550-ton chillers, three cooling towers, three large outside water storage tanks, and all of the other associated pumps and piping specialties related to each of the piping systems installed. Minnesota State Capitol Restoration

In June 2013, Harris was selected to provide the demolition and replacement of all existing plumbing, HVAC piping and sheet metal and temperature control systems for the restoration of the more than 100-year-old historic Minnesota State Capitol building. The David Eccles School of Business at the University of Utah offers students over two dozen courses for students pursuing their undergraduate and master degrees. Nestled in the heart of the “Silicone Slopes”, the University serves approximately 4,500 students annually. The Garff Executive Education building will house the University’s graduate program. The University of Minnesota Physics and Nanotechnology Building houses 200 faculty, post-doctorate and graduate students, and visiting researchers. MDA/MDH Laboratory Building

Harris provided mechanical services for the new building that unites the Minnesota Departments of Agriculture and Health (MDA/MDH) in a single space. The project required the installation of 90,000 feet of piping. Since the building includes lab space, much of the piping had to be acid resistant to safely provide for chemical disposal. Hyatt Place Provo

Harris was selected as the mechanical and plumbing design-build partner by Bonneville Builders and PEG Development for the new four-story hotel located in Provo, Utah. This 84,000-square foot hotel consists of 132 minimalist-style rooms that include some of the new high-end Hyatt standards including new Moen type plumbing fixtures.
