RTE Carton Accumulation

The customer required a conveyor system to transport product from the discharge of a freezer system over to a new case packer. The conveyor system also needed as much accumulation time built into is as possible. The customer wanted this system to be able to be used for up to 16 package sizes and rates. The Harris conveyor design group used our experience from many other accumulation systems to design a conveyor system that was dual lane with over 500 total ...Read More

Dual Spiral Accumulation System

Harris was responsible for design and installation of a dual spiral accumulation system. The customer was hand palletizing cases of product creating a space issue and a bottle neck in the packaging area. The customer wanted to automate and minimize the footprint of this process to create valuable space to be used for growth. Meat Conveyor

This project was a custom designed conveyor system to handle meat patties and also the same meat patties after they are put into the package for retail sale. The unpackaged product conveyors use modular belting with Harris sanitary conveyor frame design. These conveyors transport the raw product from a freezer tunnel over to a hand loading station to go into an automatic shrink wrapper. The packaged product conveyors transport the wrapped product from the shrink wrapper to ...Read More

Product Line

The customer needed a conveyor system for individually wrapped small frozen products. The product comes from two wrappers in 8 lanes at 300 pieces per minute on each wrapper. The conveyor system requirements are to take the 8 lanes wide down to 1 lane wide, then convey the single lane around to custom fabricated hand pack stations. Harris custom designed these 3-4 worker hand pack stations to bring the product in at a higher elevation with the empty cases directly below ...Read More

X-Ray Reject and Frozen In-Feed Conveyor

Harris was contracted to design and install conveyors that improved the quality control process for the customer. The existing system was over 20 years old, frequently breaking down and causing product damage when pushed into the freezer. The pusher was pneumatic and too aggressive with the unfrozen pans causing product loss. The customer was also concerned with the unsanitary design, making the equipment hard to clean. In addition, the existing system did not have room to accommodate quality ...Read More
