SFSU Science Replacement Building

Harris Bay Area has teamed up with Harris Design Studio on a design-build project for San Francisco State University. Lawrence Livermore Laboratory Buildings B223

Harris teamed up with Hensel Phelps for the plumbing a mechanical scope of the AME Polymers Lab (core and shell) and the AME Office building on the 2200 block of the laboratory. These two buildings were part of the first Applied Materials Engineering (AME) area plan put together by LLNL and NNSA to support stockpile stewardship. Bay Area Rapid Transit Hayward Station

The Bay Area Transit Hayward Station project was a service facility warehouse for BART and is located right next to the rail in Hayward, California. The project was a 135,000-square-foot building that included mostly warehouse space with some offices. The warehouse included under floor radiant piping to provide a comfort level for the client. Atherton Town Center

The Atherton Town Center project is comprised of a new city hall, library, police ancillary and remodel of the old existing town hall. Harris provided complete mechanical and plumbing systems, including controls and balancing on all structures. Whidbey General Hospital Addition + Renovation

The Whidbey General Hospital Addition and Renovation project consisted of full mechanical scope for an addition and renovation to the existing facility. The addition consisted of 45 bed patient rooms, ICU rooms and labor and delivery rooms. The renovation included build out of pharmacy, lab and perioperative spaces. WCC Student Housing

The Whatcom Community College Student House Phase 1 is an 89,000-square-foot, 221 bed dormitory facility. Additionally, it includes administration offices, public rest rooms, laundry, a mechanical equipment room, kitchen and community rooms. Lake Stevens High School

Lake Stevens High School was a multi-phased modernization of the existing facility on a 35.6-acre site. The project was a mix of additions, modernization and replacements. The school remained occupied and operational throughout all phases of construction and was surrounded by single-family residential neighborhoods. Issaquah Middle School

The Issaquah Middle School project is a progressive design-build project. Harris’ design partner for the project was Hargis. Harris performed the complete plumbing, including domestic, DWV, acid waste, hot water plant and fixture trim. Building 101 Mental Health + Research Building

The Building 101 Mental Health and Research Building project scope included all plumbing, medical gases and mechanical work associated with the 203,000 square-foot new building. Harris also installed a central plant upgrade and new utilities in an existing tunnel, all while not impacting the main hospital. The new multi-story building incorporates 68,000 square feet of space for mental health services with 111,000 square feet dedicated to research and 20,000 square feet for administrative support. Allegiant Stadium, Home of the Raiders

Harris was awarded the design-assist contract for the $1.8 billion Allegiant Stadium Home of the Raiders. The stadium features 65,000 seats (expandable to 72,000), 9 exclusive clubs, over 120 high-end suites, a retractable natural turf field, large operable walls and a clear ETFE roof.
